Hey everyone, so my boyfriend and I took my daughter to Disneyland about 2 weeks ago, and now, we're entered in a contest to win a 2 night stay at the hotel. Since we're already planning another trip back, obviously this would be useful. That's where you guys come in. We need people to vote for, and share our pic. If we can get to first place, we'll win the hotel stay. Right now, we're in 8th place. Every vote gets us 5 points, and every share gets us another 11+ points. Hey everyone, sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've had a lot of stuff change in my life- for the better! Those of you who know me on Facebook already know a lot of the stuff, but for those of you who don't... I finally got a job. It's not the best, but it's something. It's money coming in to the house, I've lost weight and met a lot of great people. I even started dating a guy at work. Scary, right? I had no interest in dating anyone, and was totally happy being just friends, but God, he's amazing. On the 18th, he took me to see my favorite band as my gift for Valentine's Day. Now, he and I are busy planning a trip to Disneyland with my daughter for Halloween. My daughter loves him, my mom loves him, my friends who know him love him. He's really a great guy and I'm so thankful to have him in my life.
Those of you who know what I've been through the past few years know how tough a step this was for me to take. I always thought that the next guy I'd date would have to be super patient with me because of my past relationship, and he has. No matter how many times I screw up, or think I screw up, he's been nothing but supportive and encouraging. He's thoughtful and respectful and protective and (let's be real here) gorgeous. lol It's strange though (and a little frightening) to be treated this way. I spent years feeling like I didn't deserve it, and now, I literally don't know how to react. Most times, I just burst into tears. Like in January. He knew I was having a bad day, and he goes, "Here. Tickets to see AFI. Happy Early Birthday." I literally just sat there and cried for like 5 minutes. 
Anyway, he's basically the reason I haven't been on here. When I have time off from work, I'm busy spending time with him and my daughter. I had plans to get so many wallpapers done (I swear, I haven't forgotten about your StormPilot, Taylor!), but this one of those wonderful times when real life has gotten in the way.

I recently bought a set of graphite pencils- which I friggin love!  My question is this: once I'm done with my drawing, how to do I keep the pencils from smudging? Any suggestions would be great!  Thanks!

Once upon a time, there was a young, antisocial woman who had an awesome laptop.  She loved her laptop, and the laptop loved her.  She and her laptop made many awesome wallpapers together.
But, as the years went by, and the laptop got older, things began to malfunction.  Buttons started to go missing, the screen shorted out, and the battery stopped charging.  But the young woman never gave up.  She found keyboard shortcuts to work around the missing buttons, she used the TV as a computer monitor, and she kept the laptop plugged in at all times.
One day, while making a wallpaper for her friend, the laptop took its last breath.  Nothing the girl did could revive the laptop.  All her work was lost.  
So the young girl sat and mourned, knowing that it would be a very long time before she could ever see her Photoshop again.  So she sat in a corner, crying, thinking about all the wallpapers that she wouldn't be able to make.  

So, I finally got to see the Maze Runner movie.  OMG  Such a good movie!  Gonna start reading the book tomorrow.    (In between taking breaks from my crochet).  I'm going to take my daughter to see the new one when she's on track break in October. ( I think I'm more excited about it than she is.)  I've got ideas in my head for some Maze Runner WPs and stamps, but I'm gonna try and finish all the other ones I've started on first....
Final Fantasy, XFiles, Assassins Creed, Constantine, Marvel, LOTR/Hobbit, etc etc... Jeez, there are so many fandoms I'm a part of, it's getting a little ridiculous.  lol

Anyway, if anybody's got a request they want to submit, I'm open to ideas.  With my daughter back in school, I've got a little more time on my hands for creating WPs.
